Partner venues
Cafés, restaurants and bars that sell fixed packages through Stub, like two flat whites and a croissant. The host pays for the package when he picks, and the venue is paid only after you both check in.

Stub swaps weeks of chatting for one clear plan. Here’s everything that happens between someone posting a coffee and the two of you sitting down to it.
A host chooses coffee, a meal or drinks, a public venue, a time between 48 hours and 14 days away, and exactly what he’ll cover. He adds a short note about himself or the plan. Once anyone is interested, the time, venue and what’s covered are locked.

Guests browse plans first and the host second. Send interest to the ones you’d enjoy, with a note if you like. It reserves one date pass, which is only used if you’re picked. You can have up to 3 waiting at once and withdraw any time before he picks.

The host sees who’s interested and chooses one, at least 36 hours before the date. He pays, or places the hold, when he picks and has 30 minutes to do it. You’re told once his payment goes through. Everyone else gets a kind note and their pass back.

Chat opens, text only. You both know the venue, the time and what’s covered. Either of you can cancel for free up to 24 hours before. Share the plan with a friend before you go.

Check in from 15 minutes before to 30 minutes after the start. At partner venues you scan the code on the table; at open venues you tap “I’m here” when you’re within 150 m. Check-in is how Stub knows you both came.

For 72 hours after you check in, you can both answer one private question: would you meet them again? Guests are also asked whether everything was covered as promised.
Answers stay private. If you both say yes, you’re both told and the chat stays open. If not, nobody hears a no, and the chat closes 48 hours after the date.
Every plan is at a public place. The badge on the ticket tells you how the bill works.
